Caitlin Grace McDonnell was a New York Times Fellow at NYU in 1995-97, where she was awarded the Washington Square Poetry Award. She has received fellowships from Yaddo, Blue Mountain Center and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Her poems and book reviews have been published in Louisville review, chronogram and other publications and a chapbook “Dreaming the Tree” was published by Belladonna Press in 2003. Looking for Small Animals is her first full length book and was published by Nauset Press December first. Currently, she teaches English in NYC public schools, and hangs out with her three-year-old daughter, Kaya Hope.
